Atlanta Fellows September Update: Off and Running

Atlanta Fellows community,

Hard to believe we're already 3 weeks into our Fellows year. Though we've just begun, the Lord is clearly at work in and through our Fellows.

Here are a few highlights from our year so far:

Our Kickoff Retreat in Tiger, GA was better than our wildest dreams. Among many other things, we laughed, we cried, we prayed, we got to know each other, we played Mad Gabs, and we hiked Tallulah Gorge.
The Fellows officially moved in with their host families and began working in their internships!
The Monday after their retreat the Fellows got to meet their mentors and committee mentors through a COVID-safe rooftop party!
Marcia and Allen Craig kicked off Roundtable at their home, a weekly gathering where Fellows get to meet and hear stories from leaders in the Atlanta community.
The Fellows started their seminary class at RTS, taught by the incredible Dr. Bill Davis.
Last Thursday the Fellows started volunteering at Summerhill Community Ministries (run by the amazing Justina and Emmanuel Dix).
Last Sunday we introduced the Fellows to the City Church community during the in-person worship service.
