The Atlanta City Fellows is a holistic nine-month program where you'll experience discipleship, training, and service—
all within the context of community.

Develop professionally through a part-time paid internship
Learn how to add value to an organization, think strategically, and cultivate your own talents in a professional setting.
See the gospel lived out
at home by living with
a host family
As a Fellow, you'll live with a host family, learning to live day-to-day with a Christ-centered family who chooses to share life with you— through the good times and the hard, from the excitement of birthdays to the drudgery of dishwashing.

Experience authentic community and discipleship alongside other Fellows
Each week the Fellows will meet together for Roundtable, a community-building time of fellowship and sharing, giving Fellows a chance to process their experience together. Male and female Fellows will also meet in separate groups each week with a discipleship leader.
Cultivate a Christian worldview and theology of work through seminary courses
Discover the redemptive narrative of Scripture and learn how to engage culture with a Kingdom mindset through two courses, one taught by Reformed Theological Seminary.

Serve and worship in
a local church
Over the course of the program you'll learn, love, and experience the importance of being connected to the local church, the bride of Jesus. Fellows commit to weekly worship each Sunday at City Church Eastside (PCA) of Atlanta, as well as serving in the youth ministry.
Learn from a gospel-
fluent mentor
As a Fellow you'll be given a Christian mentor who will meet with you regularly. Mentors are spiritually-mature adults who have demonstrated living out their faith in the marketplace. Mentors will encourage and challenge you to consider how God is at work in your life. They will share from their own experience, both learned and lived.

Serve the city together
As a group, Fellows will "seek the peace of the city" by serving weekly at Peace Prep Academy, a Christian school serving the students and families in the Vine City neighborhood.
Discover your calling through workshops + assessments
Within the context of community, discover the intersection between your greatest passions and the world's greatest needs through workshops and assessment tools like TruMotivate and the Highlands Ability Battery.
“This workshop provided an incredible Biblical framework for work. I walked away with a greater clarity on my skill set and what to look for going forward."
-Former Fellow on Vocation and Calling Workshop

Learn, connect, and grow through retreats and conferences
As a Fellow, you'll participate in two conferences along with other Fellows programs from around the country. In addition, Atlanta Fellows will participate in opening and closing retreats, a Silent Retreat, and a service week in the city.
“The Silent Retreat brought my faith to a whole new level. Before, I was feeling spiritually stuck and exhausted. Spending intentional, extended time with the Lord was subtly transformative and refreshed me more than words can express. The retreat was such a life-changing experience." -Former Fellow
